    Capsicum Pizza

    Ingredients:
    Capsicums – 1 cup, sliced
    Readmade Pizza Base – 1 or 2 (depending on size)
    Cherry Tomatoes – 3, finely sliced
    Spinach – 1/4 cup, shredded
    Mozzarella Cheese – 2 cups, shredded
    Black Pepper Powder as per taste
    Basil Leaves – 3 tblsp, finely chopped
    Olive Oil – 2 tblsp + 1 tsp
    Method:
    1. Brush the pizza base with olive oil.
    2. Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium flame.
    3. Saute the sliced capsicums for a minute and remove.
    4. Spread the capsicums, tomatoes and spinach on the pizza base.
    5. Sprinkle cheese and pepper powder.
    6. Bake in a preheated oven at 425F for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted fully.
    7. If you do not an oven, then heat a non-stick pan over medium flame. Place the prepared pizza and cover with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove when the cheese has melted fully and the base has turned golden brown.
    8. Garnish with basil leaves.
    9. Slice and serve at once.

    Garlic and Onion Pizza

    Ingredients:
    Thin Pizza Base – 1
    Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
    Basil Leaves – handful, chopped
    Mayonnaise – 4 tblsp
    Onions – 1/4 cup, chopped
    Parmesan Cheese – 1/4 cup, grated
    Tomato Ketchup to serve
    Method:
    1. Combine the garlic, basil, mayo, onions and cheese in a bowl.
    2. Spread evenly over the pizza base.
    3. Place it on a baking tray and bake at 225C/450F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    4. Remove.
    5. Serve with the kethcup.

    Tomato Pizza

    Ingredients:
    Readymade Pizza Base – 1
    Garlic – 2 cloves, finely chopped
    Mozzarella Cheese – 1 cup, shredded
    Tomatoes – 2, finely sliced
    Mixed Herbs – 1 tsp (readily available in stores)
    Coriander Leaves – 1/4 tsp, finely chopped
    Method:
    1. Sprinkle the herbs, garlic and 1/2 cup of cheese on the pizza base.
    2. Arrange the tomato slices on top and sprinkle the remaining cheese.
    3. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top.
    4. Bake the pizza at 220C/425F for 5 to 6 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
    5. Remove, slice and serve at once.

    Homemade Pizza Sauce

    Ingredients:
    Tomato Puree – 1 cup
    Oregano – little, dried
    Garlic – 1, small clove, peeled, crushed
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 tblsp
    Sea Salt as per taste
    Method:
    1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender.
    2. Blend well until smooth.
    3. Transfer to a clean, sterlized jar.
    4. Store in the refrigerator until required.

    Vegetarian Pita Pizza

    Ingredients:
    Whole Wheat Pitas – 4
    Tomato Sauce – 1/4 cup
    Mushrooms – 1/4 cup, sliced
    Capsicums – 1/4 cup, sliced
    Zucchini – 1/4 cup, sliced
    Garlic – 4 tsp, chopped
    Feta Cheese – 1/4 cup, crumbled
    Black Olives – 3 to 4, sliced
    Oregano – 1/4 tsp, dried
    Thyme – 1/4 tsp, dried
    Black Pepper Powder as per taste
    Olive Oil – 2 tblsp + more for drizzling
    Method:
    1. Brush the pita breads with olive oil and toast them for a minute.
    2. Spread the tomato sauce on top.
    3. Arrange the sliced vegetables, cheese and olives on top.
    4. Sprinkle with oregano, thyme and pepper powder.
    5. Heat a pan over medium flame.
    6. Place the pita breads and cover with a lid.
    7. Cook, covered, on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
    8. Sprinkle pepper powder and drizzle with olive oil.
    9. Serve at once.

    Homemade Pizza Dough

    Ingredients:
    Maida – 5 cups
    Quick Rise Yeast – 15 gms
    Salt – 2 tsp
    Warm Water – 2 cups
    Method:
    1. Combine the flour, yeast and salt in a bowl.
    2. Add enough water and mix well.
    3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and pliable, about 10 to 12 minutes.
    4. Shape the dough into a ball and cover with clingfilm.
    5. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
    6. Homemade Pizza dough is now ready.
